With the holidays upon us, most everyone can relate to the need for an additional work surface or extra seating. Here's a clever solution to this problem, one that's there when you need it and out of sight and out of the way when you don't.
Also worth pointing out on this pull-out table and the cabinet that houses it is the finish. It's a special match both paint and glaze, and the glaze was applied to show distinct brush strokes. Sorry the photos do not capture this special finish very well, but a digital camera under fluorescent lights does not produce ideal results.
This shot shows the table pulled out from the cabinet. The false drawer front lifts up and the table pulls out and then slides back in. The table easily slides back inside the cabinet when not needed. The doors were not on the cabinet when the photos were taken.
These photos show how the table extends out to a full 60". Pull the table out as far as it will go, then fit the extra leaf in place. The leaf stores out of sight and out of the way on a shelf located inside the false lift-up drawer front.
